Hoa Phat Furniture donates VND 500 million to fight against COVID-19

Hoa Phat Furniture Joint Stock Company donated VND 500 million in cash, contributing to covid prevention fund of Hung Yen province to prevent COVID-19 epidemic.

On the morning of June 18, 2021, in response to the call of supporting and donating for the Covid-19 epidemic prevention funds, Hung Yen province held a ceremony to receive cash and in kind donations from many businesses and individuals and awarded medals to these individuals and businesses.

In the event, Hoa Phat Furniture Joint Stock Company donated VND 500 million to the Provincial Party Committee - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province for preparing resources and supporting the campaign against COVID-19 in the province and across the country.

At the event, Mr. Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen Province, gave thanks to the collectives, individuals and organizations having enthusiastically helped during the anti-epidemic period. Up to now, the province has been successful for 21 days without any new cases in the province and has entered the anti-epidemic phase. That achievement was reached thanks to the correct direction of the Party Committee officials, the province and the consensus of many individuals and organizations who enthusiastically and timely donated necessary equipment and cash for medical facilities. The co-operation, patriotism and solidarity of “Dong Bao” have significantly contributed to the achievements today.

Previously, Hoa Phat Furniture, together with Hoa Phat Group and the members, also carried out many campaigns to join hands in pandemic prevention. Up to now, Hoa Phat Group has donated over 100 billion VND in cash and in kind to the Covid-19 Prevention Funds.

At the same time, the staff of Hoa Phat Furniture always strictly comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Health such as regulations 5K, regulations on distance, isolation... Representative offices and factories ensure daily disinfection procedures, daily body temperature measurement... before starting working hours. 100% of employees are required to wear masks while working at the company's buildings, offices and factories.

In general, the board of directors, managers and all employees of Hoa Phat Furniture always wish to support, join hands to help and contribute to the campaign to fight the epidemic with Hung Yen province in particular and Vietnam in general.
